Kingswells homes
Where the charger goes on a Kingswells estate house
Most of Kingswells went up from the 1980s onward, in brick and render rather than granite, and nearly every house has its own drive. That makes it one of the easier parts of the city for home charging. The decisions are about where the unit sits and how tidy the route looks.
Garage wall or house wall
A charger on the garage gable or the pillar beside an up and over door keeps the cable short and out of the way of the front door. Where the garage is integral, the supply can often run inside it and come through the wall right behind the unit.
Block paving and shared drives
Paved drives look best when nothing has to cross them. We put the charger on the wall nearest to where you actually park, so the charging lead reaches the car without trailing over the paving. On a drive shared with a neighbour, we agree the position with you before fitting so the lead never crosses their side.
Houses still on their first board
Plenty of the older estate houses still have the board fitted when they were built. We test it before quoting and tell you straight whether it can take the new circuit. What we do: agree the wall, the route and the price with you on the survey. Call 07304 027013 to book it.
